I'm still here! I've been keeping myself busy! It's been a really hard year but I've made lots of friends and I have a lot to be thankful for right now. I've been working on a degree in video game design. I've got a 4.0 GPA and I'm a member of the IGDA. I haven't been working on much of my old stuff but I have plans. The old Doukeshi stuff has been on the back burner, mostly because it's just hard to start going through archives without a huge depression cloud hanging over my head. 

I've been playing Pokemon, Final Fantasy XIV, and I'm going to be getting Destiny tomorrow so I've been pretty excited. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me lately. I really appreciate it. I still feel like I'm treading through mud, but I'm getting through it. Thank you!!

It is with heavy heart that I write this today. I have just received news that a good man, my dear friend, and past creative partner, Adam Schiller has died. He was the co-founder of Doukeshi Productions and literary mastermind behind all Doukeshi Production works. As my eyesight blurs behind tears and typing becomes harder, I just wanted to say, thank you to all of our supporters over the years. Nothing had brought Adam more joy than seeing his work in the hands of others. You were his hope in a life filled with struggle. Thank you.

I'm so friggin busy. It's all good stuff though. Drawing a comic, my art classes are full of more kids than I expect, working full time, and going to school... yup.

I have a million sketches but nothing really cool yet... Art I've done in class is kinda lame... But I did do a ton of artwork that went to New York Comic Con so I'm not standing still (no matter what it looks like on my page here)

I think I've been playing Pokemon X & Y more than I've been sleeping... which probably explains this searing headache I have developed today. Not to mention lack of food... Yup. I think I better head off to bed.

Aside from having just a bit too much on my to do list, things have been pretty awesome lately.

Ugh... I've been fighting off the urge to make Valkyrion ... but I couldn't think of a really good project to make. So I fumbled around with some ideas and decided to go fantasy. I'm going to start design work on a story about a princess who has to fight her twin brother for her birthright as heir to the throne and a cursed sword that is at the center of it all. I'm going for a "hard work and perseverance makes dreams come true" idea since most princess stories are about girls that sit around and wait for help, she'll be a princess that goes out and inspires others to fight for a greater cause. I've got lots of unused ideas sitting around in my sketch books so I'm a bit excited to bring them to life.

On another note, school is still kicking my butt, but I'm starting to get used to it and my creativity is getting stronger again... grah... lots of depression is lifting away finally.

Since the huge nine-year-relationship break-up I have been keeping REALLY busy.

I moved out, painted a room with puffy clouds and grass, got a small pokemon stuffed animal collection, I'm working at a new place, I just started college, I'm working on getting a car, still teaching art classes (and maybe some music classes?), and working on projects for clients. Today is gonna be my first free-ish day in a while so I'm pretty stoked. I've been staying positive and working towards really getting my stuff together and things seem to be falling into place.

I'm not sure what is going to happen to Valkyrion since the copyrights are divided now, but I've got some ideas for similar things. Finding the time to implement them is an entirely other story right now.

I'm excited about the new pokemon game and about the PS4 coming out but I've only pre-ordered Pokemon.

I have done a few sketches of my own and will try to upload them soon. Thank you everyone for your support. It means a lot.
